Life is a Gift

Romans 5:15-18

The Arminians insist that a gift is not a gift unless it is received by a positive act of volition on the part of the recipient. Such is ridiculous and even nature testifies against this as nonsense. What person received the gift of natural life by an act of the will on their part? I also received my blood type, eye color, and numerous other characteristics from my parents without any act or say in the matter at all. A glass receives water and cannot prevent it. The wind receives the wind blowing through it, yet did not invite or direct it. Such is everyone that is born of the Spirit.1    Jn 3:8 They have received the free gift of eternal life, while they were yet dead.
